Clemson is becoming rapidly becoming a recruiting force in the southeast. The Tigers have transformed from the humble beginnings of hoping to find 2 and 3 star diamonds in the rough that the bigger powers missed to competing, and successfully I might add, with the big boys in the last 5-6 years alone. The latest preseason poll was released today and as if expectations weren’t high enough, the bar has been raised even further. Three ACC teams are among the top 25 and only one cracks the top 10.

After opening with Alabama at the Georgia Dome the Tigers don’t have a true road game until midway through the season when they travel to Wake Forest on October 9. Beginning with the Wake Forest game the Tigers will play four out of six games on the road.
