I received a phone call yesterday from someone who knows recruiting and we talked for a while.
There were several subjects/prospects discussed, but only one I have been able to find more info on .
Bryce Brown was in Clemson on 11/28/08. The visit went terrific !
In fact the staff is pushing VERY hard on him !
Brown has a soft verbal listed for Miami,mainly because his brother is there. But if what I have heard is true the staff is looking a him as though he may be this years Spiller/Harper prospect !
It sounds like Bryce Brown is very interested and has initiated communications with the staff since his visit .
Cross your fingers guys !

If Bryce were to look at the other high quality RB commits and what Miami currently has on scholarship he would see that he would have an even bigger chance of playing early at Clemson. Yet, as they say, blood is thicker than water, and I believe going to play with his brother is VERY important to him. So, at this point, I believe it would be a HUGE stretch of the imagination to really believe we have any kind of legit chance here. I believe that he either says with his Miami commitment or actually goes to Kansas State with its new staff, that is pushing REAL hard!
