That's not true. He pulled his commitment from TN, himself. He also pulled his commitment to WVU, prior to committing to TN. I'm not concerned about it at all. I've got faith that if Oregon and OSU are still in the hunt for him as well, them Clemson us among good company going after Boyd. Not to mention the fact that he was the offensive MVP for the Army All Star game.

I could see Spurrer deciding he would not fit his offense. I suspect this kid may become a really good college QB, but right now he is more like Michael Vick than Matt Ryan.

One of the things that really bother me (and it occurs on both sides) is Clemson and USC bashing each other's recruits. I've seen people for us bashing Holloman and saying he's overrated for instance and the above link shows the same thing for Boyd. The truth is that we'd be estatic to have Holloman right now. USC fans would be making pee pee in their pants if Boyd was giving them a serious sniff, given the performance of Smelley and Garcia this last year.
