Great news!!!! and yep...i hope that does bring in those 2 or atleast 1 of the 2. I really don't mind the low number of recruits...i'll take quality over quantity anyday....except for money....lol

Amen brother. DVM said it was a done deal, pretty much from day one. Dabo and Billy are amazing on the recruiting trail. Kendal Kelly & Bryce Brown come on down!!!

Awsome get for CU. I wouldn't consider it over though... still a week away and if anyone is suceptable to being swayed, it's this guy. However, both the parents seem to be on board with CU (closest to home) and they'll pressure him to keep the commitment.
Word on the inside boards is that we've no chance with Brown. However, both McNeil and Boyd are pretty tight with him, so I think our chances have gone from none to very slim. We are in pretty good shape with Kelly and I don't know that Boyd's commitment will make much difference, but it can only help us.

I will be curious to see about the results of his surgery and the recovery time. Will he be ready for fall practice? Will he need to red-shirt?

Tajh has been quoted as saying he would like to avoid red-shirting and should be ready to compete for the QB job in the fall.
Boyd won a state championship (15-0) and was named the MVP in the Army All American game despite his ACL injury. This leads me to believe that the ACL isn't completely torn, making it a relatively minor ACL surgery.
Lets keep Tajh in our prayers for a successful operation and speedy recovery.

Has anyone read the "Tajh Boyd Thread" on Cocky Talk???
I saw the link on TigerNet today and checked it out. There aren't enough adjectives to describe the entirety of the thread. It's pathetic and hysterical at the same time. Here are a few examples (THIS ISN'T SMACK).
"Wow this makes alot of sense..hey lets not go after Tahj Boyd, who contacted us about coming here (USC) and was being recruited by OSU, Oregon, and everyone else..Instead lets go after some kid in Tampa who noone knows..and doesnt even have a rating on rivals or scout, and is being recruited by powerhouses Charleston Southern and Liberty..yeah that sounds pretty logical..thanks Steve..at least we got Scruggs..Sorry to post something like this guys..but i just dont understand this..? I mean ill trust in Spurrier but come on..this kid (Boyd) is gonna be good..even if he sat the bench here at least go after him so Clemson doesnt get him..oh well"
"It blows my mind as to why SOS didnt go after this kid..I mean SOS stated he wanted to use Garcia's run ability more..and now we had a chance to land Boyd, who is a dual threat and who wanted to come here...and of course Steve doesnt want him? baffles me..just unbelievable"
"Yeah didn't we (Garcia and Smelly) need a QB with some talent next year more than Clemson (Korn and Parker). Why in the world would SOS just let a kid with this much talent go unnoticed by our staff? I hope Spurrier enjoys the nightmares he will have for the next four years if Tajh signs with Clemson. This is just unacceptable in my opinion."
There's more just skim through the thread, it's ridiculus. The thread is 28 pages long with 549 posts about a recruit that considered them about as much as he did BC or UVA.

Yep, I noticed that it got shut down b/c of the flaming. Definately worth a look as the above posts are only a sample of the hilarious posts there. I'd start at about 3 pages from the end.

I was referring to the authors of the posts, not the USC coaching staff.
