Bryce Brown and Crow Pie

I love Crow and I'm having an extra helping this morning!!

Some interesting news on the Bryce Brown front.
1. He will not sign a LOI on NSD. He wants to wait and consider more schools. Rumor is that he and the new Miami OC didn't hit it off that well.

2. Rumor is that his brother could be playing a part in this. Apparently his brother isn't that happy at Miami and isn't encouraging his brother to go there anymore.

3. Brown actually called Clemson to talk to the coaches. Napier will be visiting him this week! With the pressure off to land him in a week, I'd think that an unofficial (hopefully with Mom and Dad) could be set up for Febuary (or even better.... March when we are having spring practice).

so there you are. I'm still of the opinion that he won't be coming to Clemson, but no doubt, we are working our way back into the picture.

It never hurts to hope, and if you don't recruit him, he definately won't come. There's only a slim chance as this guy only has to snap his fingers and any BCS school offers him a scolly. He could literally go to any football school he wants to for free. Still, he actually initiated the call to Clemson. That's pretty big. I'm looking forward to hearing what goes on in that meeting with Napier.

I believe I read Napier and Rumph will be visiting him. Bryce would be huge! Could you imagine landing him, Kelly, and Kirkpatrick. Im not doubting the ability of this staff to recruit...I feel that anything is possible and the sky is the limit as far as recruiting!

Why people continue to hope on such improbabilities baffles me. Someone should write a book on this phenomenom!!!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having dreams and hoping, but placing yourself in the middle of an illusion with virtually no chance of reality is hope wasted!

Let's hope about Lattimore for next year which, although we are quite behind, there does indeed remain hope!!!

I don't see how you can say we have NO chance when he initiated contact with our coaches. Now I'm not holding my breath, but If he's calling Napier, then we do have a chance, however small it may be.

Just a quick followup with more rumors/info. There are a couple of articles up on the insider boards with T Boyd and McNeil talking about NSD coming up. Both of them reconfirmed their Clemson commitments and both of them (in separate articles) said that they were working Bryce Brown and thought Clemson had a good chance to sign him. Just FYI.

The fact he wont sign tommorrow isn't a big deal.
Do I think we get him? I doubt it.
But who knows at this point.
