I just wanted to remind everyone,DO NOT GET TOO OVERWELMED
with recruiting right now. Yes,the coaches we presently have right
now, still have to go to work in that reguards. But based on every-
thing that has happen at Clemson in the last week, you can't put
too much stock into what is going on.I mean come on,with Tommy
leaving, did you not expect some of our recruits to at least give
other schools a look.It would happen anywhere,any school.Just
don't allow yourself to get too down in the dumps about it.Now, w/
that said.I would like to discuss a few players on the recruiting trail.
-DB Craig Loston...many would have you believe that was a long
shot reguardless.Maybe, maybe not. But should Clemson go in the
way of a Will Muschamp with its coaching hire.Theres a part of me
that believes that we could get back into the picture with Poppa
Loston.If not,its ok.
-DB-Devonte Holloman...while he did back off his Clemson commit-
ment.I'm hearing hes in a wait-and-see mode as far as Clemson
goes.So all might not be lost there.
Keep in mind people,if TDP goes in another direction than Dabo
Swinney. The next guy may not even recruit alot of the same guys
as the present staff.
-ath Larry Raper..same as Holloman.Backed off commitment but
might still give Clemson a shot with new staff.(if they want him!)
-WR Jheraine Boyd..saying hes not phased by Tommy leaving CU,
and still has Clemson among the leaders.I feel alil edgy about gett-
ing this 1 though.
-Brandon Thomas and Roderick McDowell were both at Clemson
this past weekend and really liked what they saw. Both are still
committed(for now). OL JK Jay seems to be still committed but is
looking some(Ga)
Well, thats about all I have for now.I would say if you are a recruit-
ing attic like me.Wait till late Nov and lets go from there, deal.

Didn't know that Jay was still looking around. I still have him as solid. Just curious where you read that. Makes me nervous cause you're usually right.

I don't plan to worry because I don't control the outcome and my life will be just fine if they do not attend Clemson University.

We just lost Ben Axon to South Carolina. Gotta say that I was a little surprised by that...

I think right now, the most important thing is making the best hire for the head coaching job. If we get the right head coach, even a down year in recruiting will not cripple the program. Clemson already has a lot of talent in place that will give the next coach a great foundation to build upon.
