Just a bit of an FYI to everyone on the Rivals rating. BT's stock rose in a HUGE way after the Scout combines in Charlotte. I don't believe that Rivals has updated since then. This kid will definately get his 4th star from them too.

I am optimistic about this young man, but I also know that being a "commitment" has no real meaning unless they sign the national letter of intent in February 2009.

This is a solid commitment. Brandon will be going to Clemson. He was happy to get the recruiting process behind him so he can focus on his upcoming season with the Cavaliers.

I got done with work a little early today. I came back to the hotel and scoured the recruiting sites and major news outlets before coming on. I saw where BT commited and came here to report it and it's old news !
I have to get more time off work ! Great job everybody !

Kid is a tremendous athlete. One of the most athletic big men I've seen in a while. Big enough to play tackle, athletic enough to play tight-end and fullback! He'll be a guard for us and a good one. In a zone blocking scheme, a quick burst and athletic ability at the guard positions are a must and he should excel. He had a bit of a hard time last season due to some injury issues and it will be fun to see what he can do now that he's healthy. He's a 4 star prospect (I expect rivals will move him up shortly...maybe not all the way to 4, but he deserves to be there and will be there by NSD if not earlier) with tremendous upside. His ceiling is higher than either Freeman's or Page's from last year, in my opinion. Big time get.

WOW. Athletic linemen means you can run the RB screen more effectively. That would be a welcome change considering we completed 1/5 against Auburn. When you cant complete the pass, you might as well put the WRs on defense.

Hopefully this will be the last year for a while that we have to replace so many lineman. It looks like we're building some depth through recruiting.

Let's not count our chickens before they hatch. He has not signed with us.

I love to see those big OL and DL commit.
IF we don't have those talented players it won't matter how good our QB and RBs are.
