Default Special Teams - 2010

With the departure of Spiller and Ford, who do you guys believe will be back on kickoff returns this year (ellington?). I would also think that gilchrist would be on punt returns. Any ideas?

There are LOTS of options here and some of them are darn near as dangerous as JC/Jacoby.

You MAY see(but I don't think so) Xavier Dye, Bryce Mcneal, Marquan Jones. Any of these guys could do a decent job of returning the ball

Some other possibilities are: Rashard Hall, Xavier Brewer, Darius Robinson (if he avoids RS), Martin Jenkins (if he avoids RS), and Joe Craig (VERY likely if he avoids RS). All these guys have legit 4.3 speed and Joe Craig has broken 4.3 several times. Their vision, elusiveness, and hands will be the determining factors.

My picks to be the return guys are Rod McDowel, Andre Ellington, and Martavis Bryant

Thanks, Hopeful. I was wondering about Joe Craig as well. I guess we will just have to see how he develops because I'm sure we would not burn a redshirt for him just to play special teams. I am ready to see his speed though.

Craig and Jenkins are both burners in this year's class. IMO both RS though. Odds on guy is Rod McDowell to do the returns.
