Yea, the 14 penalties for 112 yards called against Dallas helped out tremendously. No way the Cowboys win without the officials help.

3-34?
Outplayed on both sides of the ball. That just about sums up the game today. Congratulations to the Vikings. All in all though, still a pretty good season. Romo and the offense had an oustanding year. Defense did as well. This bunch reminds me alot of the 91 Cowboys. The 91 team also had to exercise some demons that year. Overcame a mid season slide and won a playoff game for the first time after a long drought (1982). A young QB (Aikman) finally gained some validation after showing some promise. 91 also ended badly at Detroit in the 2nd round but brighter days were ahead. Yea, I really like this group. A young team with a very bright future ahead. Next up, the draft and then off to training camp.

On a side note, great game by Sidney. Nice to see one of our own have a big day even if it was against my boys. I truly hope Favre comes back next year if for no other reason than Rice deserves a decent QB to throw him the ball.

The talk most of the week was about the Cowboys defensive line and LBs. Someone forgot to tell the Vikings defense because they came to play. I think they had four sacks in the first half.

I think the Cowboys have established a nice nucleus of players. They need to retain the good ones and maybe get another OL to do well in 2010 (just my opinion even though I am not a Cowboys fan).

The Romo Empire returns tonight. Now that the final member of the triplets has been enshrined in Canton, the march towards title number six can begin.

16-7!
Yea, yea, I know. It's only the first pre season game. Still nice to start off with a win though.

9-17?
It's still only pre season, but it's better than no football at all.

If anyone else types something in this thread they should jump off a large building. Create a new thread, let's say a "2010 Dallas Cowboys" Thread. Now that would be a novel concept - a thread about the Dallas Cowboys and the upcoming 2010 season.

Dez Bryant, the new “Play Maker”, is now out of his walking boot and may be ready by the final pre-season game. Possibly even earlier. Just one more weapon at the disposal of Tony Romo, AKA “Captain America”.

16-14!
First teamers were a little sloppy. Some of the youngsters played well though. A win is a win.
